MiniMax H3 Max Turbo
fal's faster, distilled H3 Max: quicker at every resolution and length, at half the price.
What is MiniMax H3 Max Turbo?
MiniMax H3 Max Turbo is fal.ai's faster, distilled version of H3 Max.
It comes from the same line as H3 Max, which fal post-trained from MiniMax's open-weight H3 model. On Flashloop it makes 5 to 15 second clips at 480p or 768p, with native audio and first and last frame control.
The trade is simple. fal reports it is faster than H3 Max at every resolution and length tested, at half the price, and in exchange Turbo gives up reference mode: no tagged images, clips or audio files, and no character tagging. You steer it with text, or with a first and last frame when a clip has to start and end on exact images. Audio still comes out of every generation, so dialogue and room sound arrive with the picture.
That makes Turbo the model for volume. Try ten versions of a prompt, keep the one that works, and move it to H3 Max if it needs a recurring character, or to a 1080p model such as Veo 3.1 when it goes out as a final. For daily short-form posting, it is often enough on its own.

Good to know before you generate
- No reference mode and no character tagging, so keeping a face consistent across shots is a job for H3 Max
- 768p is the ceiling on Flashloop, so use another model for a 1080p final
- There is no silent mode: audio is generated with every clip

Questions about MiniMax H3 Max Turbo
How much does H3 Max Turbo cost on Flashloop?
H3 Max Turbo is billed per second of video and costs less than H3 Max at the same resolution. The creator shows the exact credit cost before you generate.
How is H3 Max Turbo different from H3 Max?
Turbo is fal's distilled version of H3 Max, built for speed. fal reports it is faster than H3 Max at every resolution and length tested, at half the price. It has no reference mode and no character tagging, so it works from text and first and last frames only. Use H3 Max when you need up to 12 reference files or a consistent character.
Does H3 Max Turbo generate audio?
Yes, on every clip. Dialogue, ambience and effects are generated with the picture and there is no silent mode, so write the soundtrack into the prompt.
Can I use reference images with H3 Max Turbo?
Only as frames. You can set a first and a last frame to pin where the clip starts and ends. Reference files and character tagging are only available in H3 Max.
What durations, resolutions and aspect ratios does H3 Max Turbo support?
Any whole-second length from 5 to 15 seconds, at 480p or 768p, in 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4 or 9:16.
Who makes H3 Max Turbo?
fal.ai. It is the second step in fal's line built on MiniMax's open-weight H3: fal post-trained H3 into H3 Max, then distilled H3 Max into Turbo for speed. Flashloop is where you can use it alongside its other video models.
Is H3 Max Turbo good enough for final videos?
For social posts, often yes. For large screens or client finals, its 768p ceiling on Flashloop is the limit, so re-render the chosen shot on a 1080p model such as Veo 3.1 or Kling 3.0.
