Nano Banana Pro
Google's Gemini 3 Pro Image: 4K images, edits in plain English and clean text in several languages.
What is Nano Banana Pro?
Nano Banana Pro is the name Google uses for Gemini 3 Pro Image, Google DeepMind's image generation and editing model, launched on November 20, 2025.
It edits images from plain-language instructions, blends several reference images and renders text in multiple languages. On Flashloop it generates up to 4K with up to 8 reference images.
Editing is where it earns its reputation. Ask for a targeted change like "make the background cream" or "keep the face, change the outfit" and it changes that part while leaving the rest of the image alone, instead of regenerating everything. It succeeds the original Nano Banana (Gemini 2.5 Flash Image) and runs on Gemini 3 Pro's reasoning, which shows when a prompt stacks several instructions. On Flashloop it has passed 72,000 generations.
Text is the other reason to use it. Google reports fewer text errors than its earlier models, and in practice packaging, menus and posters in more than one language come out readable. It is not built for pixel-level retouching, and very precise text-heavy layouts can still drift, so check fine print before you ship. 4K renders take longer than standard resolution, so iterate small and render large at the end.

Good to know before you generate
- Plain-language edits handle broad changes well but are not pixel-precise retouching
- 4K renders take longer, so iterate at standard resolution
- Text in less common languages is less reliable than English and Chinese
- References with very different lighting can pull the result in different directions

Questions about Nano Banana Pro
What is Nano Banana Pro best at?
High-resolution images and plain-English editing. When you want a focused change to an image without rebuilding the whole prompt, it is one of the easiest models to work with.
Can I use multiple reference images with Nano Banana Pro?
Yes, up to 8 on Flashloop. That lets you take a product from one image, a style from another and composition cues from a third. Google's model itself accepts up to 14.
Which aspect ratios does Nano Banana Pro support on Flashloop?
1:1, 3:2, 2:3, 16:9 and 9:16, which covers marketplaces, social posts, ads, banners and vertical content.
How good is Nano Banana Pro at rendering text?
Strong, including in several languages. Google reports fewer text errors than its earlier image models, and it is a better fit than most when the design needs real words instead of text-like shapes.
Can I generate print-quality images?
Yes, up to 4K, which is enough detail for many print mockups, product sheets and posters.
Is Nano Banana Pro good for ecommerce?
Yes, especially for product variations and ad creative, when you need the same item in different settings, colors or layouts without a reshoot.
Who makes Nano Banana Pro?
Google DeepMind builds the model behind Nano Banana Pro, Google's nickname for Gemini 3 Pro Image. Flashloop offers it alongside other image models; it does not make the model itself.
How does Nano Banana Pro compare to other image models on Flashloop?
It is a strong choice for plain-English edits and multilingual text. GPT Image 2 accepts more references (16 on Flashloop), Seedream 5.0 Lite is faster, and Flux 2 is usually better for stylized art.
