Seedance 2.0 Mini
ByteDance's lower-cost Seedance 2.0: native audio, up to 15 seconds, at 480p or 720p.
What is Seedance 2.0 Mini?
Seedance 2.0 Mini is the lower-cost model in ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 family, trading some quality for price.
It keeps native audio and the reference and frame controls of Seedance 2.0 but stops at 720p. On Flashloop it renders clips up to 15 seconds, with up to 7 reference images or a first and last frame.
It exists for volume. It costs less per second than standard Seedance 2.0, so you can try several versions of a shot for the same budget. The prompts carry over, so a take you like on Mini can be re-rendered on Seedance 2.0 High at 1080p or 4K without rewriting anything.
For social clips that live at 720p on a phone screen, Mini is often the final model as well as the draft one. Where it falls short is resolution: anything headed for a large display, or anything you plan to crop, belongs on Seedance 2.0.
