Step 1: Pick your niche
Go to YouTube and search the type of content you'd like to make
- Kids stories
- Cute animals
- Cartoons
- Satisfying videos
- Fun facts
- Short dramas
- History stories...
Pick something you'd actually enjoy making 30 videos about. You'll be living in this niche for a while
Find 3 to 5 channels in that niche that are blowing up

Look at when the channel was created (About tab). If it's less than a year old and already has big numbers, that's proof the niche still has room

Open their Shorts tab and sort by "Popular"
- Note the top 10 videos of each channel in a doc or your notes app
For each one, write down: the hook (what happens in the first 2 seconds), the main character, the topic, and the length

Look at how many views these channels get per month

Step 3: Set up your channel
Create a new YouTube channel dedicated to your niche
- Use a brand account (not your personal name) so you can add people later if you grow
Pick a simple, memorable name
- Easy to spell

- Tells people what they'll get

Step 5: Turn the idea into a script
